Quick Thoughts: 1. The night vision is actually pretty good. You can see things clearly even when it's dark outside, just from the headlights. I was impressed. 2. Reading license plates at night can be tricky. You need to be close, and the car’s brake lights can't be too bright, or you won't see the plate. This dash cam does a decent job, though. If you really want to see plates better at night, maybe think about getting a 4K camera, but really, it's all about how good the night vision is. 3. In the daytime, it works just like any other dash cam. They all do pretty well when it's light out, so nothing special to say here. 4. The screen is 10 inches and fits right over your regular mirror. If your car mirror was in the way, don't worry because you can slide the camera out a bit. It's better than having your old mirror sticking out weirdly. 5. The whole mirror turns into the screen, so you see a lot of detail. If you're used to a dash cam with a smaller screen and still being able to use your mirror, this might be a change. But if you want to just use the mirror, you can turn the screen off easily with a button—no need to fiddle around. 6. It also shows the time and date, which is pretty handy when you're driving. Other usual stuff it does: - Watches your car when you're parked - Keeps important videos safe - Lets you take photos while you're recording, which is cool. - Has GPS, but you need to buy an extra part to hook it up - Comes with a back camera too - Puts the date, time, and your license plate on the videos - You can change the settings for the light (50/60Hz).
Overall, it is very good. I bought all kits with fuses. I can say many things for this item. Advantages: -Front cam 4k it is perfect. -Rear cam 1080 HD nice. - Use as mirror is perfect anti- light in the night. - install both was kind of easy. - screen cam is smooth to use. - Size is perfect on original mirror Disadvantage: - No bluetooth - No sim card network -No 🎤 and 🔊 - App for phone is not enoght to use it, and I want to use it even I far away from car and I want to see. - front cam, if I use it as a mirror, it has verbreation
Appreciate the inclusion of a rearview camera to capture road incidents and driver behavior. Observing an increase in driver aggression and recklessness, ranging from rudeness to dangerous actions. Although the camera can't prevent accidents, it serves as a crucial documentation tool. We witnessed a driver dangerously overtake using the shoulder, dispose of small liquor bottles through the window, and make hazardous lane changes while indicating incorrectly, nearly causing multiple collisions. This individual made a series of erratic maneuvers, including incorrect signal use and nearly hitting a pedestrian in a parking lot, before recklessly handling a child upon exiting the vehicle. We contacted State Patrol upon witnessing these actions. Authorities arrived promptly, addressing multiple offenses including suspended license, reckless driving, child endangerment, and DUI. They appreciated our offer to provide video evidence. Highly recommend this camera for its role in resolving disputes and documenting traffic incidents.
Really enjoy the clear image it provides! There's some glare at night, but it still meets my needs.
This dashcam doubles as a rearview mirror, offering video of exceptionally high quality that is both vivid and clear. The installation process is straightforward, both for the dashcam and the backup camera. Its touch screen responds with the sensitivity of a smartphone, which I find particularly impressive. I've had a great experience with this dashcam—it's an excellent purchase and comes highly recommended!
The camera delivers on its promises with high-quality performance. It comes with ample wiring for the rear camera, ensuring you won't run short on length when installing from back to front in the vehicle.
The installation of this mirror dash cam was surprisingly straightforward. It arrived with a generously long cable for the rear camera, ensuring an easy route from the back to the front mirror. Concealing the cable was a breeze; I simply ran it along the upper interior edges and door frames until reaching the dashboard, where I coiled the excess and stowed it beneath the dash near the steering wheel. The entire setup took under ten minutes, requiring no prior experience. The mirror itself delivers crystal-clear visuals, displaying both front and rear views simultaneously on a split screen, which can be toggled on or off. Note that an SD card is not included. The package does include rubber fittings for the rear camera's clamps, which initially puzzled me regarding their placement for attaching the dash cam to my existing mirror. Additionally, I overlooked the necessity to extend the front camera fully for proper fitting. This detail becomes apparent upon examining the back of the dash cam. The image quality is impressive, boasting full 1080p HD resolution and comprehensive on-screen controls. This purchase has left me thoroughly satisfied.
Nice
Night videos are clear, and installation is a breeze. It's a great buy for the price.
It does everything as promised. Love the clear view and loop recording feature.
This product is fantastic and offers incredible value. It functions as a regular mirror when off, and when on, provides a clear, bright rear view without any obstructions. The screen detail is excellent, it's easy to use, and doubles as both a rear and front dash-cam. The packaging and instructions are above average, though a bit confusing at times. Just remember to power it directly from the car's 12V outlet to avoid touchscreen issues.
All good.
After a frustrating experience with a different product, I found this one. The touch screen and graphics are just the start. It includes a 32' cable, easy instructions, adjustable lens angles, night vision, split-screen, and efficient security features. The only issue is with LED license plate lights causing reflections. A tip: use only one light or reposition the camera.
It's a useful device, but be aware that it can glare badly when dirty, particularly if facing high beams.
Don't second-guess yourself! Even without the need for rear projection, the image and build quality are so good, you'd think it cost $200 or more. Plus, the interface is incredibly user-friendly.
Impressed with its appearance, though it may glitch when disconnected from power. Still, for the price, it's a steal.
All its functions are working. Easy to use. The image is beautiful. The control from the phone also works.
Don't second-guess buying this! Even if you don't need rear projection, the image and build quality are outstanding, something you'd expect in more expensive models. Plus, it's super easy to use.
Using this in a hatchback car can be challenging.
The camera provides a crisp view, and the angle is adjustable. We were so pleased with it that we bought a total of 3.
The view is crystal clear! There's some glare at night, but it doesn't stop me from using it for my needs.
For its price, the image quality is surprisingly good, though setting up the wiring was a bit tricky. Still, it's a very handy tool to have.
Love its clarity and the adjustable screen feature. The wide-view backup camera is fantastic.
Given how people drive these days, having this camera feels like having a reliable witness on board. Big thumbs up👍
Absolutely outstanding product, the best I've encountered so far. 👌
I bought several as gifts, but my own needed a quick exchange due to a formatting issue. Post-exchange, it's been perfect—easy to install and adjust, with clear front and back views. Highly recommended for the price.
No problems installing it in my RV, but visibility during heavy rain is an issue.
I installed this in my old daily driver after window tinting affected my night vision. The install was easy, but the instructions were too basic. My main gripes are with the image quality—there's a bright splash screen at startup that ruins night vision, it's tricky to adjust settings, and the camera fogs up and stays fogged longer than it should. Plus, the internal screen reflects too much glare, and the backup assist bars aren't very adjustable.
It's all good. Without damage. I order a second DVR as a gift. I use the same, completely satisfied.
I'm really happy with this camera!
Setting it up on a 2012 Ram 1500 was a breeze, especially running the wires. However, I'm rating it 4 stars due to an issue with the camera's alignment. When connected to the reverse light for activating the parking mode with guidelines, the camera shifts to a zoomed-in and left-offset angle, which is pretty much ineffective for its intended use. The misalignment is significant, to the point where it's unreliable for backing up. I ended up disconnecting the feature that triggers the reverse parking mode. A better approach for me was manually adjusting the camera view on the screen when reversing. Despite center mounting, the camera's default offset is to the left, so I installed mine slightly to the right of my license plate frame for compensation. The video recording quality, capturing both front and back views, is commendable. I haven't hardwired the unit; opening my door triggers a non-disablable chime. The manual lacks detail on the functionality of various settings, like the difference between the 50mhz and 60mhz frequency options. Daytime visibility is a challenge; the mirror needs angling down to see the video clearly, and in bright light, the display becomes almost invisible, limiting its usefulness as a rearview camera. At night, the visibility is better, but direct lights can overwhelm the camera, similar to shining a flashlight into a phone camera. It survived a carwash, indicating some degree of durability, although I've only tested this once and live in Southern California, where rain is scarce. I hope future models might include an option to fully integrate it as a primary mirror, though I'm skeptical about the longevity of the rubber straps used for mounting. Overall, I'm pleased and would consider a higher-end model from this brand in the future.
I received the item I bought and installed it today. I really like it, and the rearview camera provides a clear image.
I initially equipped my truck with only a front camera but later opted to enhance it with a dash cam that includes a rear camera. The installation process was straightforward, and the camera delivers exceptionally clear images without any issues. This setup was installed on my 1999 Ford Ranger, and the cable for the rear camera was notably long, leaving ample surplus. The camera received a four-star rating from another user due to the rear camera's nighttime performance. It's true that visibility decreases when vehicles behind illuminate their headlights at night, but this is a common limitation across all cameras, whether designed for vehicles or home security. Direct light sources can impair camera visibility. Despite this, the camera is remarkable, offering a broad viewing angle.
The product packaging is excellent, without any damage.
It’s all set up and ready to go! I must say, the quality is top-notch. The visuals are clear, and the touchscreen is incredibly sensitive. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
The image quality on the mirror is surprisingly good for its price, although setting up the wiring was a bit more complicated than preferred. Nonetheless, the camera is highly useful.
An absolutely perfect product!
I would recommend buying it.
It's great, but beware of glare when it gets dirty, especially with bright lights from other cars.
Bought it for my daughter's car, and it's amazing. Easy to install and operate, with great features.
I'm a big fan of this camera!
A perfect backup camera solution for our Sprinter Camper van.
While not as high-end as another brand in my RV, it's a solid purchase for the price. The main downside is the screen glare on sunny days, which can obscure the rear view, but it's still useful for spotting cars in blind spots.
It works perfectly when tied to the reverse light, just as described.
This product is amazing—definitely the best I've used so far.
The camera functions well overall, but I find the front camera's resolution to be lacking compared to the rear, which looks better.
Easy installation, but the screen is hard to see in bright light and with polarized sunglasses.
The video quality is excellent, capturing everything from side to side.
The design doesn't fully cover the existing mirror in my van, leaving a less professional look.
Perfect for ensuring the safety of my community.
After much research and returning other models, this one is a keeper. It's so good that family and friends bought their own after seeing mine.
Great value for the price.
Haven't installed it yet, but it looks promising.
Glare from the rear window makes the backup camera hard to see.
Perfectly satisfied with its performance!
The camera functions well, but the mirror's reflective quality when off is poor, making rear visibility blurry.
Cool design, but the dark tint and lack of a stable mount are drawbacks.
Luxury and useful, with easy-to-adjust settings for reversing the image display. Had to laugh at myself for forgetting to remove the protective film from the front camera.
Seems like the ideal choice for me.
The camera works well, but I find the front camera's resolution not as good as the rear one.
The dash cam's front camera fps could be better, but overall it's great. Learning the playback feature takes time.
